Bart was dancing with Mia, showing her his best impression of the dance that he'd sent to her when they'd been emailing-- the way he had promised they would. And he didn't seem to care who was watching.
And that was when someone walked up and Bart's motions got a lot more jerky and his brain didn't really.. .it didn't... you know... go anymore. He stared at K-K-K-K-Kara and tried to speak but it was really more of a squeak (which thankfully couldn't be heard over the music). So he cleared his throat and tried again, "HI K-KARA." He croaked at the top of his lungs. His face turned red enough that it matched his Grampa's lucky red bow tie.
He looked back over at Mia, eyes wide and tried to get his squeaking-squawking voice under control, "Mia, this is K-k..KARA. K-..K-k...KA-ra, this is Mia!" He shouted over the music.
All he could think was one thing: What would Batman do? He really missed his mask now.
