Dinah closed and locked the door behind him then followed him to the kitchen. She cringed when he brought up Shiva. Of course he would have recognized some of Shiva's moves in Dinah's martial arts-- and he'd seen her eat enough to notice what in particular she had been avoiding. It was only a matter of putting two and two together at that point; which he was pretty good at. Dinah started taking the food out of the basket and tried not to look like a kid who had just been cause with their hand in the criminal underworld cookie jar. Hopefully, they could keep this between the two of them-- Barbara really didn't need to know about this.
She looked up when he mentioned what he was doing at her apartment though, and paused, completely caught off-guard.
Yeah, this was really weird.
"I need a drink." She said, walking away from the food to grab a bottle of wine from the cupboard, "Do you want something?" She offered, though she was already getting down two glasses-- because drinking by yourself was rude to company.
"They told me they got Batman," She started, grabbing a corkscrew from one of the drawers, "I guess I didn't really believe them." Absently, she handed the corkscrew and bottle over to him, "Open that, would you." She directed, moving aside to grab plates and silverware.
Dinah was suddenly thankful that she'd chosen to do dishes last night.
