Who: Bobbi (Open) Where: NYC - Cafe When: Wednesday, May 23rd, 2012 What: Bobbi's working out of the NYC S.H.I.E.L.D HQ for the day and goes out for lunch. Because even super driven SHIELD agents need to eat. Too bad super driven S.H.I.E.L.D agents have a really hard time relaxing ... Rating:TBA - right now it’s G. Or I guess P for Paranoid.
She had spent the morning running tests and writing up the results, and being completely and utterly focused on her work. She had managed to ignore her body’s request for food for most of the morning (she had eaten breakfast … several hours ago. But damnit, she didn’t care if her stomach was empty she did not have time for lunch right now …) but eventually she had raised the white flag of surrender and put her tests on hold so that she could go and obtain some food.
Bobbi had planned to stay at S.H.I.E.L.D HQ for lunch, just grab some food and then head back to her work, but once out of her workspace the idea of mingling and interacting with her fellow S.H.I.E.L.D agents en mass didn’t appeal to her. So she had decided to temporarily vacate the S.H.I.E.L.D premises, and head into the city to find someplace for lunch.
She had settled on a cafe that had an outdoor patio, and been seated out there. Then she had requested a new seat out on the patio - one that she picked out. Bobbi needed to be sitting in a place that allowed her to see both the street, and the entrance to the restaurant. And be seated in a place that offered maximum escape routes should things get … interesting. Granted she was just out here for lunch but in Bobbi’s mind a good S.H.I.E.L.D agent was an always alert and prepared S.H.I.E.L.D agent.
Picking up the cafes menu, she skimmed over what was on offer, while she also kept an eye on who was seated around her.
