The ground floor of the townhouse was on the verge of presentable when Strange heard the knock. A brief stretching of his senses told him that this was one of his expected visitors, and he nodded in satisfaction. That hadn't taken long at all. "Wong, if you would please prepare some tea. I will show our guest in."
Brushing the dust of moving off his hands and clothing the Doctor made his way to the front of his home. With a polite smile he swung open the door. "Hello, and welcome dear lady."
His smile flickered for a brief moment as he looked over his visitor. The being before him had taken great pains to cloak itself. There was a good deal more power hiding behind the pleasant elderly woman standing before him, though how much more Strange couldn't determine without a more detailed probing.
Still, no need to be paranoid. He was a newcomer after all, and had announced his presence in grand blazing fashion. Had the situation been reversed he would have been equally cautious. The Sanctum's wards would be a hindrance to any offensive magics if things went...poorly.
"Please, come in and make yourself at home. You will have to excuse the mess, we are still in the process of unpacking." He led the woman to the drawing room and gestured to the newly placed furniture. "I am Doctor Stephen Strange, humbly at your service."
