Ted was awesome. If anyone ever said to Kate Bishop or Hawkeye that Ted was anything less, she'd be so tempted to plant a boot in their face. He was just so smart and amazingly sweet, and she loved the way he got excited at the prospect of helping her! He wasn't chiding her about getting in trouble, but he was just saying it'd be easier for her not to get caught if they were a little more cautious, which was nice to hear.
She watched as he moved over to his closet and punched in his secret code. She herself didn't bother to look at what he was putting in, mostly because she respected his privacy. It helped with their kind of relationship.
Her lips smiled when she heard him say he had more of the same. Same was good considering the group she was getting together. It was better than trying something new when she didn't know exactly how the four of them would work together. She hoped it'd be the four and not the three. She wasn't too sure on Mr. Superstrength, but she was keeping positive for now.
Hearing the sound of the door opening, she turned back to look at him before he turned around with a grin on his face. Ah! "Yes, communicators! I was thinking around five for now and I don't know about range...uhm..." Her and Eli were usually right next to each other. "Pretty far? I mean, we might have to be at different locations at the same time or something, right?" It was good to be on the safe side.
