Jean tipped her head to the side in a sympathetic gesture, her eyebrows flicking up for a second as he spoke. She knew Logan could take it, and although at one point she'd have fussed over him and insisted on a trip to the infirmary, she liked to think she knew him better now. He was tough, so much so that he perhaps seemed impenetrable to most people. She knew that wasn't entirely true though. His body might be able to recover quickly, but Logan's mind his -- well, his emotions. They were entirely different.
"I'd prefer it if you hadn't been stabbed at all." she replied, in a tone that she hoped would suggest that she wasn't about to mollycoddle him.
Jean took a step towards him, pushing her hair back behind her ear.
"I suppose Gotham was as productive as ever..."
Jean didn't keep her hatred of the place to herself. Having spent a few months there herself she knew the place pretty well and had no desire to return.
