Who: Logan + Open to X-Peeps Where: Xavier Institute When: 5/12 (backdated) What: Logan comes back home after his weekend in Gotham. Rating: Safe for work. Logan was tired down to his bones. This was nothing new, but the pang of relief as he turned his bike onto the Xavier's Institute driveway was; the thought of home crossed his mind, and he banished it with an irritated shake of his head. Close enough, and it was a place where he could sleep off the lingering aches and get the scent of Gotham off his skin; he didn't need to get all maudlin about it. He'd done enough of that when looking at the old parts of Gotham, the bones he recognized under all the decay.
Hopefully the kids would actually let him, because the way he felt now, he'd be liable to snap their heads off. Or at least dump homework on them. But then he'd need to grade the homework. He debated the finer points of canceling his classes and going off into the woods for an extended stay.
He left his bike parked in front of the mansion, and ambled up the steps and into the main foyer. He dumped his jacket over the newel post, shifting the ball of fabric in his hands. First thing was to change out of the stupid "I (heart) Gotham" T-shirt and figure out the best way to dispose of his ripped and bloodstained shirt - if he'd done it in Gotham, he'd likely have sparked an investigation, and as it was he'd gotten odd looks when he stopped into the gas station to by the aforementioned Gotham T-shirt. At least here, only thing that would happen was that various people would nag him, and those he could always just show them the proof that he didn't even scar from any of this.
