Doug stared at the phone on the ground, wondering now if he'd succeeded or if the act of breaking it had prevented him from warning Oracle. When Eddie yelled at him to focus, it snapped Doug out of his brief reverie, and he examined the SHIELD servers.
His path was cutting right for their secure files, but there were a few alternative paths. He decided maintenance reports and other low-ranking files were the place to start, and course corrected. If no one was coming to catch Riddler, all Doug could hope for at this point was damage control.
"Punching through the last firewall..."
He switched gears, sending a message to the SHIELD contact who'd responded with a quick acknowledgement code.
Disconnect all secure data from your mainframe. Maybe put something useless in its place? You have 45 seconds before we start stealing your secrets.
"...now. Data dump beginning. Forty seconds until we've got access to their top-secret database." Doug remembered to look up and smile at Eddie. "Think we can keep them chasing their tails until then?"
