Damian's first impulse was to dismiss the Red Hood's question out of hand. It was none of the Red Hood's concern, no matter what misplaced proprietary sense the man might have felt towards Gotham. The city didn't belong to him. Damian wouldn't have even discussed matters with the girl had she not invited herself to the altercation.
"Tt. You should get used to disappointment," Damian responded, sounding very much like he wanted to roll his eyes. "But if it's any consolation, it won't be happening again."
The League wasn't known for backing down so Damian doubted the answer would appease the Red Hood, but he also didn't care. It was his own affair. The last thing he needed was someone entwining themselves into his business, or even worse, some self appointed protector.
