'Tom' held her close and as he comforted her, Loki realized that he was playing the role so well that he found himself quite naturally enjoying the warmth and feel of her embrace, to be able to comfort Wanda even though he was the one who was intentionally trying to stir up these miserable emotions in her. She could not see his face when Loki frowned, angry and forcing himself away from these irrational feelings. He had a mission, and that was to break Wanda so that she once again lost control of her powers and cause disturbance in Midgard. He took a deep breath and focused his mind before slipping into the role of 'Tom' once more with the 'correct' perspective.
"It's alright to mourn," he said. "You've lost somebody that was dear to you. That pain never truly heals. But they live on in our heart and memories." He kissed her upon the side of her face and whispered so only she could hear. "I love you."
