"I've always been partial to the British isles." Dick replied with a smile. "And thank you."
"I remember that show." Dick said off hand, recalling a handful of memories. Most of them were jumbled and distorted by senses; smells, sights, sounds. The few that remained intact where rather unimportant in the grand scheme things. He knew he had met several of the "royals" but mostly what he remembered was meeting the "commoners" as they had been called. He recalled his father leaning over to whisper that the people were fellow Rom and that he should treat them like family. Back in those days it was hard to get Dick to not play with local children. So of course he'd embraced all who approached him as long lost cousins.
"You grew up.. like me?" Dick said with a look that was a equal parts astonishment and pleased. It was great to meet another person who had enjoyed the same lifestyle.
