"Why would she try to do that?" Billy questioned cautiously, not wanting to anger Loki, but curious all the same. The entire exhortation against Wanda puzzled him. Loki was the Asgardian god of trickery, or at least that was what the few volumes that seemed to bear any merit had to say about him. While he was a powerful sorcerer, Billy never thought of him as the type to fight evil. Granted, this Loki that he dealt with seemed far more serious than Billy would imagine a trickster god to be.
But that wasn't to say that he didn't believe Loki when he said that Wanda was powerful. He just wasn't entirely convinced that she was wicked. Dangerous, perhaps. But the feeling he got from her wasn't that of evil. But... perhaps that was only what she wanted him to feel.
"And... what if I'm already under her spell in some way? She did give me a flower, when we met."
