Billy plopped down onto the rooftop with a bit less grace than he would have liked and wiped the sweat beading on his brow. He was surprised Loki had showed back up. Then again, the span of time to someone like Loki had to be different than to a teenager like himself. Still though, after the first couple nights after their first meeting of nothing, Billy had started to think that perhaps Loki had found other, more interesting prospects.
"Uh... close to a year, maybe?" Billy walked to the bottle that was rolling on the concrete and picked it up, setting it upright again. "There was this freshman in school that was getting picked on, and I really didn't want him to get hurt."
He held out his hand toward the bottle and his eyes flared whiteblue for the briefest of moments before a translucent purple barrier materialized over the bottle. Holding his hand steady, he stepped carefully onto the barrier to show that it was capable of blocking physical objects.
Dismissing the small shield, he looked toward the direction of Loki's voice until he spotted him. "Over time, I found that, the more I wanted something, the more likely it could happen... Though, it's not always reliable. I've not quite mastered the focus for it, it seems."
