"Drat. Thwarted again." She said, grin never fading and stepped into the elevator, raising an eyebrow at Roy when he jumped in just behind her to make sure she wasn't going to try to lock him out.
Dinah watched the numbers lighting up as they descended and once they were down to the last five floors, she braced herself again, ready to race out into the garage and to her bike.
They hit the garage floor and the doors opened (way too slowly). Dinah bolted for her reserved parking space-- this might be the best head start she got. As a resident, she got to park closer than any of the guest spaces... plus she didn't have to worry about all those time consuming things like opening doors, or putting on seatbelts.
