Bruce watched her hand on her stomach but assumed that what she spoke must have been true that she was only remembering the effects of the virus. He frowned at her next sentence. "I may be healing quickly but I still can't walk. What use is a Batman with no legs?" he asked in a deep voice. He felt her wrap her leg around his and it calmed the fire and anger in his core that frustrated him for not being able to do more about his condition. She calmed him. Her touch was very soothing. It seemed a woman's touch was exactly what the doctor ordered to boost his moral. The monks couldn't have been more wrong. She wasn't a distraction at all. She was helping and he smiled softly at the thought, kissing her on the forehead.
"As much as I would love that, I don't want to get kicked out of here Zee. You know I can't risk you coming up here often. It's bad enough you're here now." he said shaking his head though a smirk played at his lips. She gently touched his face, his cheeks which were covered in stubble.
