She lay back down, but was starting to make some notes in her head. She shouldn't be this coherent. She shouldn't even be conscious. Everything in her training was screaming at her, and the fact that she could draw on the training now when the amount of blood was so evident... And then there was Jack's reaction. She stopped moving, her eyes closed, focusing on what he was saying. What she was feeling.
She winced slightly as she felt the gauze brush over the wounds, but... it stung, nothing more. "Should be in more pain." Not that she was advocating it, but this didn't make sense. Her wounds had closed? Everything she was hearing was leading her to think that was the case. The heat she'd been feeling before, was that related?
"We need more." she said, her eyes opening up. She pointed against the wall. "Scanner in the top drawer..." She was trying to keep herself calm. Something was happening to her. Something she couldn't explain. She was almost sure there was a bit of a panicked look in her eyes, but she knew better. Knew to stay calm. She winced, frowning. She wanted to see it... she was a terrible patient, she really was. And she knew it. "Need to run some tests..." In other words she needed to be off this table!
