Martha smiled lightly, practically able to see his mind working, thinking about what she'd just suggested. She pushed some of his hair from his eyes - that stubborn hair that always hated to cooperate this late at night.
"Haven't you learned by now," she responded, intertwining their fingers with one of her hands. "I'm always right." It wasn't chastising, a bit more playful, trying to make him smile more. It had been such a stressful few days. But it couldn't stay this way, she knew it couldn't...
"I know you would. I don't think there's anything on this planet or any other that would keep us rom finding our way back to one another." she leaned in to kiss him again. "You found me when I was locked in that ship by the Skrull. Got me out of the Pharm. There's no reality in which I'm not here with you." She smiled, leaning her head on his shoulder. She adjusted a bit on his lap, suddenly stiffening, feeling a bit nautious but managing to right herself.
It was a hell of a time for it to act up. Sometimes she really hated human anatomy! Even if she was a doctor!
