Turn it off.... Of course they could turn it off. Not that anyone had ever bothered to tell her about it But it made sense that they should be able to... She could have shook her head if the situation weren't so serious. But this wasn't the time. Things that hadn't been said, or hadn't been explained, or maybe - given when she'd come in - some things had just been overlooked. But it didn't matter.
Martha just smiled, nodded but didn't say anything about the Klaxions. There were more important things to do. Stepping into the office, she walked over and leaned against the corner of his desk, putting one of her hands on top of his shoulder. "You didn't have to go through the trouble," of course she knew that he hadn't really come here to work. She glanced at the papers in front of him and frowned. She'd seen them there the previous day. "Was just a bit worried," she reached out and tried to grab one of his hands, despite them being clutched. How did she say it, walking on eggshells wasn't going to do it. "Didn't want you being here in the dark all on your own."
