"I know. I've kept it at bay for a little over three hundred years. I don't know what to do about it." He sat down and checked his ammunition and finished healing.
"I was alright. I thought you were injured." He heard no hurried footsteps but he didn't let his guard down. "Good. It's too cold for either of us to not have clothes."
"If I was sure I wouldn't get stabbed again, I'd say let's hit them again. That's the last thing I'd expect us to do and with you carrying me off I doubt they'd expect both of us to come back for round two." He saw his helmet in the distance and said "Oh, that's where it went." He phase stepped and put his helmet back on and then returned to Laura as quickly as he left.
