It really sounded like Huntsman had everything under control here. And - if he was being honest with himself - as much as he'd been more than happy to get home, to get the chance to be an actual civilian agian? He'd missed it. Being able to outfox Klink, (who believe it or not he and the men had actually put a good word in for, given his humane treatment of the prisoners... Not that any of them felt bad, or that they needed to do this, but when it counted he HAD stood up for them. The move had surprised the central command). Being part of something outside of what he was doing now - running the club's day to day, talking to people...
And in truth, being timelost didn't help matters. Not only was he reeling from changing careers, he was in a time that he was only starting to understand.
Robert offered Jack a smile. "Well I do like being in an underground base again," he started with a nod. "And your doctor is pretty easy on the eyes..." Like he would turn this down, especially when an old friend was asking. He didn't have many of those anymore - friends... at least no one that was alive, or whom he'd been able to find.
