It didn't go past his notice that he hadn't answered the question aboutt the 21st Century changing. As far as Hogan knew, technically every century had its changes. He just wanted to know what made this one so special. Then again Jack had never been one to tip his hand... at least not intentionally. So the best course was to wait.
"A mascot?" Now this Hogan was skeptical about. "So an eagle, or a... a hamster?" He tried guessing something but got nothing from his former airman. So he just followed behind until Jack finally stopped walking and indiated.
Robert took a step forward, seeing the cell and what looked like a person hunched over in the corner. He was horrified for a second, ready to turn back to Jack and demand an explanation when the person moved and was up against the glass in a second, causing Robert to take a sudden step back at seeing its face. "What!?" his eyes widened, not having been prepared for what he saw. "Wh- what the hell is that?!" That wasn't human! It was... he didn't know what. The normally unflappable Colonel Robert Hogan was ruffled.
