Who: Skrull!Martha (shhh its a secret) and Open (to Torchwood members) What: Skrull!Martha and the Torchwood Computer System (among other things) When: Late Evening September 1 - Early Morning September 2. Where: Torchwood 3 Hub, Cardiff Why: Because she has to know everything and report back to her queen. Status: TBD
The computer systems here were more complicated than she generally gave humans credit for. Created by one of her... she wasn't certain how to refer to this Martha Jones. This system had been created - the security anyway - by one of Jones' former collegues, a Toshiko Sato, a woman who was dead. Whoever she was, under other circumstances it would have been next to impossible for her to hack... at least without the proper tools. It was an advantage to their queen's plan. With the originals tightly secure, she had an in. One that she could not give up. She would not give up. Her Queen was counting on her.
For the last several night 'Martha' had been busy. Staying late, checking files... anything that might be useful later on. She had once used the excuse that she was going over extra medical documents. It seemed that late nights were not unusual for Martha, and the Skrull weariong her skin was more than happy totake advantage of the situation. No one else was around as she scanned the documents with her head. This would take time. Lots of it. But fortunately time was one thing they had in abundance.
Making use of the information - which was HIGHLY CLASSIFIED - was only the first step in the full scale invasion. BUt no one kew about that yet. Her job was key, and she didn't care. She had to keep her eye on (and pretend to love)a man who for all intents and purposes was an oversized nyphomania-driven child. When this was over - she decided looking at the screen and memorizing part of the skematic. This would be useful. She just had to continue to make CERTAIN that no one caught on. Especially that Captain. He could yet be useful.
She was good at this. It was her job. And she'd kill anyone whp got in the way of her job.
