Puck wasn't a shooter, but he could score if he got the chance to take it strong to the basket. Most of the time, his job was to defend and feed the ball to the point guard (today, it was Russ Price) or the center (Finn), depending on where he was.
He crowded the other side's ball handler (the term still made him giggle) and nabbed the ball with a lucky swipe. Puck sent the ball to Finn, who was in position for an easy basket. The two boys paused to exchange a high-five before running downcourt to go on with the game.
