Marian looked at him in surprise. "Together?" she asked him, sounding unsure. Still slunk down a little to keep out of view of her boss, her expression said she was thinking about it, weighing it up. She didn't think it was smart or safe to go somewhere with Guy, no matter the truce they'd just declared. But... well, they didn't have to go somewhere private, just somewhere that wasn't here.
"I saw another bar down the block," Marian finally said. "Wanna go there instead?"
She knew that it was making a choice - she was choosing to stick with Guy, even as she left here. It would have been easy to make an excuse to leave on her own and go home, but she was choosing otherwise.
