Constanze blinked, looking away toward the window and out into the garden beyond. It was as though she was searching for something, but she wasn't really looking at all. Approval meant a great deal. They could do as they pleased, for one. It hurt her deeply that his father didn't approve of her. She loved Wolfgang, couldn't he see that? She sighed and looked back to him with a less than convincing smile, "It will be okay. He needs time to warm up to me."
