Who: Lucifer [Open Narrative to Satan]
What: Guess who discovered rage. Or Belief is really weird.
When: About a decade after this
Where: Jerusalem
Warnings: Lucifer, shockingly enough
After the first time he had spend on the world above, Lucifer was almost relieved to be back in the dark abyss that was his prison. It was comfortable, it was familiar, and it was his. Time past, slowly and not, and humans continued to talk. They continued to teach of the Bright Lucifer, who had corrupted and seduced, and then fallen to Hell itself. And with time, it shaped him.
Never enough to slip out again, not until a decade had passed. But this time it was different. This time he appeared near a small village, and he could not think past the murderous rage that enveloped him. With all the fury of a scorned sun, he descended on them, and with gleefull precision cut all the villagers down to a man. He tortured some, crucified others, and made some throw their faith to God away, and give it to him and Satan instead.
He sowed destruction, and reaped the joys of it. It took him a few hours, but at the end of it he paused and stood in the middle of the village, hands covered in blood and his entire self covered in gore and viscera. And he did not understand why. The rage had passed, and the feeling of nothing had returned. The meaning of this all had been perfectly clear while he did it, but now it was without meaning.
He studied his hands in idle curiosity, ignoring the whimpering sounds of mercy of a lone survivor nearby. He saw no purpose in killing this one, nor did he care to. So without any real malice he walked away and stood at the edge of the destroyed and still burning village, hoping to be returned to the emptiness from which he came.
