WHO: Aglaia and Hephaestus WHAT: Old time flirting WHEN: ...old times? (tbh my ability to write things set in the past is pretty shit so be nice to me ;)) WHERE: Ancient Greeceplace.
Ever since Aglaia had laid eyes on the Olympian, she had held deep affection for him. The fact that he was crippled didn't matter to her. Aglaia could see Hephaestus' heart.
She knew, as everyone did, that Hephaestus had been hurt by his wife, Aphrodite. She knew Aphrodite had carried on with Ares while married to the forge and that she didn't even try to hide it. Aglaia felt that if Hephaestus ever gave her his heart, she would never betray him.
Which, to be fair, was probably because there was nothing in her nature which could even conceive of it.
They had met a few times now and Aglaia had tried to show him she was different, though she understood why he was wary of her. She was determined to be patient and win him over eventually.
She made her way to his home and forge on Olympus, carrying with her several presents she hoped would make him smile. That was what she wanted, really. Then she knocked on his door and waited.
