Oh if it was the end he'd burn everything in sight. He would make this earth a cinder if he'd missed the opportunity to go home.
He had enough forethought to turn from the mortal before his eyes gave away his true nature. He still growled before he closed his eyes and looked for that lock within him. He could not be himself until the end had come, and if it had he could start in this village. But it was still there and he frowned.
So the seals weren't broken. Pestilence must have just been having some fun. He was sad they hadn't been informed but he'd deal.
He pulled himself back together and turned back to the priest and Satan. "Forgive me. We had family in that village." They didn't but it was as good of an excuse as any. "And I very much doubt this is truly the end." He hoped Satan would pick up on that. "Tell us good Father, is there anything to do to ward off this Pestilence?"
