It was a thick stack of books, but that didn't intimidate Rosario. She knew her way around a textbook. In fact, there was something reassuring about the tangible heft of them: thousands of pages' worth of information, solid physical evidence that there were real answers to be found and it was possible to get a handle on the weird shit that kept threatening to engulf her life. She approached the trolley with interest and traced a hand over the topmost book.
Meditation: well, she definitely needed some pointers there. She continued down through the titles, restacking the books in a new pile as she went. Dreams, divination, oracles, myths— yes. Yes, this was exactly the stuff she needed to know. The only real problem would be scraping out the time to study it properly.
Rosario lifted her eyes to Merlin again with a questioning look. "Not to leave the room under any circumstances, right?" He'd sounded pretty militant about that the last time they'd spoken, which— fair, honestly. Rosario had a general policy of not lending stuff unless she was prepared to lose it. It was a bit of a barrier to homework reading, though. Maybe he'd let her scan some chapters on her phone.
