Merlin narrowed his eyes just slightly, puffing on his pipe, and then nodded once. "Aye," he said, "so you remember me, do you?"
He wasn't sure Kaden would. After all, things had been pretty crazy, and they hadn't spoken much. The boy was wary though, and he hadn't come any closer. Hecate was right to advice caution.
