"It was," Hermes acknowledged. "Because Merlin forgot to exorcise it before I got out of the hospital."
"I'm glad it's gone now," Henry breathed. "Let's refocus. When was the last time you left this apartment?"
Hermes arched an eyebrow at Henry. "I- I haven't."
Henry chewed on his lip for a second and then he said, "with all due respect, Hermes, it sounds like you got out of the basement, but you're still letting Lucifer keep you captive." Henry's guts roiled because this was an Olympian god here he was sort of, kind of telling off... But he needn't have worried. Hermes only looked like he had just discovered a new bruise on his arm and didn't know where it came from.
"Oh my gods, Kid. You're right. You're godsdamn right. I- How do I fix it?"
"Time," Henry said, but he was pulling out his phone. "And lists. You're going to order groceries and eat something not ordered on an app. You're going to get a cleaner in to give this place a thorough going over. And I can help you with all of that if you need me too," he added, since Hermes looked like he had no idea how to do any of that. "You're going to stop telling your wife to stay away, if the only reason is just your pride. And...if you think you can handle it, you're going to come with Iestyn and me and get a cup of coffee from the cafe around the corner. Do you think that's doable?" Henry extended a hand to Hermes, a questioning look on his face.
Hermes glanced to Iestyn. "Is he always like this?"
