Lyra felt a tug of frustration as Dannielle just flat out ignored her, but then again, that was just more proof she was awful, and Lyra had already known that, and it just made her stand up the straighter in opposition. When Dannielle turned her back, Lyra reached up and flicked Avery's hair again, sticking her tongue out of the corner of her mouth at him.
"Tell you why I wanna sleep there," Lyra said honestly, ignoring the fact that Dannielle's question had obviously been rhetorical. "Little kid Avery slept there, and teen Avery, and I'm fascinated bout that boy." She said this last, then bumped hips with Avery while they walked.
