Clio did feel guilty for talking about her musagetes like this when they were getting along so well, but Rosario was mortal. She needed to know the truth. If she went in without knowing, she stood to lose so much and Apollo would never see it like that.
"He hasn't, not really. I don't believe cursing is in the cards for you, my dear. But that doesn't negate that it is for other people." She thought about poor Marcella, very nearly killed by Apollo's curse, and what Clio had been willing to do to convince him to reverse it, and she closed her eyes and sighed.
