Rosario thought she'd have to argue the point. She was already summoning a rebuttal for whatever earnest-sounding protestation Apollo came back with, so of course he did nothing of the sort, rolling with the insinuation with a warm laugh, as though she'd just made a hilarious joke.
"Well," she said, the argument still weighing heavy on her tongue, but he'd turned it around on her, and when you framed it like that of course it sounded reasonable. God, she hated it when he was reasonable! So, "Yes," she had to admit, before going on swiftly, "but I sure as hell wouldn't be hooking up with eighteen-year-olds.
