"She's real sick!" Kaden said loudly, a knee-jerk reaction to how Marcie was lying about how bad it was. "Hecate, fix it!" He scrambled back straight after he'd said it, because he knew it was going to get him in trouble, but better than than being stuck alone with a sick Marcie all day. At least Hecate might be able to magic her something. He didn't know what he could do. Clearly it was worse than bacon and juice could handle.
