"We have our ways of staying under the radar," Elaine said, nudging a cup over for John to fill too. "Some of us have the money to cover it up, some don't. Faked IDs, faked identities, faked and real, although temporary, death. And we are all different, conceptually. Myths, legends, saints... It's all reliant on faith and not everyone is willing to make that leap."
As she finished the apples, she reached for the berries to scatter over the top, and she wondering how much she should tell them about herself. Little John was folklore, and he was fairly close to a regular man in character. But she was something else entirely. With a little laugh, she looked back at the two girls. "You know how in Harry Potter, the wizards stay hidden to avoid being bothered by muggles all the time to fix everything? Perhaps it's a little of that too."
