Elaine watched John speak as she started laying out the fruit in the pie dish, nodding slightly as he spoke. "The things that really mean something to people are what matters. Not every story is real, and not every story stays real. I don't know what caused our existence, but I know that we are believed in. The belief of children is the most powerful. For instance, I have met a few tooth fairies over the years, they were lovely."
The two girls looked kind of confused more than anything, but it was a confusing subject. She didn't want to start listing off everything that was real, mostly because she wanted to keep the conversation focused on what was in front of them.
