There was a pang in Henry's chest when Maria said she was proud of Rudolf. So easy for her to say it about the brother long dead, but not so easy to say it about Henry. Apparently. He was going to move past it though. To his father who didn't even answer his question. Though that, he supposed, was because Nick was in pain and didn't want to dwell.

"And there's a bunch of stuff I still want to talk about, but before I forget, I- I know it's November know. And that's crunch time.
