Hecate slipped her wand away the moment before the lift doors peeled back, and placed her hands across Clementine's back as though that's where they'd been this whole time. She didn't need the wand to keep drawing the lines on the ceiling, it was simply a tool to make it easier. Without it, she needed to focus harder, but her sharp mind continued to draw, clear as any wand, just a little slower. Her eyebrow raised a fraction as the demon and Merlin discussed Luna's schedule, though. That certainly threw a few of the very fond things Luna had said about Merlin in the past into a different (but not entirely surprising) light.
"Peitho is down in Luna's apartment," Hecate said easily, moving quite obviously toward the couch to sit down. She could see the wariness setting in, and wanted to ease it by making her own self comfortable, stretching her arms and curling them back around the baby. There was nothing to be suspicious about, the stretch said; why would she have brought a baby if she was up to no good? "One of the girls in my coven makes the most beautiful dresses. I've brought one over for Luna and she's trying it on, Peitho seemed keen to help her undress," she winked at the demon as the final lines of the trap on the ceiling joined together. "Merlin was just bragging that he can make a dirty martini with both hands behind his back, come join me for a show," she patted the cushion of the couch at her side, urging the demon to cross the floor toward her, passing directly beneath the trap.
