WHO: Clio and Will Stutely WHEN: Wednesday night WHERE: Their place WHAT: A pleasant surprise WARNINGS: TBA
Ella's birthday had been a quiet affair, just the three of them. It was a bit difficult to feel like celebrating too much, when most of Ella's family was involved in searching for an abducted young man, and Clio was distracted by the threat of Lucifer yet again. So distracted by the threat and the search and the party, that it took her an entire week to notice she was late.
While Will was at work, Clio had taken herself to a bodega to purchase a test, and then she had waited until he arrived home, expecting to tell him she was late and for her to take the test and for them to wait together. The second he did get home, she found she was too worried to tell him. What if she was wrong? What if she wasn't pregnant and she got his hopes up?!
Worry kept her putting it off until Ella was in bed. And finally she had to know. She slipped upstairs and closed herself into her ensuite the test in her hands. She followed the instructions to the letter, because she might have taken hundreds of these by now, but some of them were fiddly things.
Then she washed her hands and waited. And waited. And panicked. And waited-
With a whoop she hoped didn't wake up Ella, Clio burst out of the bathroom and she ran down the stairs. "Will!" she called loudly, excitedly so there was no mistaking this for panicking. "Will!"
