"The Lash's haven't made any formal complaint, but it could be forthcoming," Sydney glanced toward Kaden too. He wasn't moving, wearing the same frown he'd been wearing since she'd stepped out of the office to give him space. She'd watched the fight- and it had been some fight- fade out of him, either when he realised that it wasn't getting him anywhere, or, (she hoped, because she always tried to see the best in people, even those who gave her a black eye) because he realised he'd crossed a line.
