"You're allowed to be happy," Cathal told her, just in case that was something filling her with guilt. "It doesn't mean your feelings for Tragos are any less than they were. I'm sure he wouldn't want you to be distraught forever." At least, Cathal assumed. Maybe there were vindictive types out there who would want their lovers to mourn for the rest of their lives. But if he was dead there was only so vindictive he could be.
(Unless he's a ghost, Cathal reminded himself. But maybe best not to think about that idea, of this Tragos watching them both right now.)
