Cathal nodded, trusting that she would have to make the right decision for her. Kaden would probably be fine over night, and Cathal was hoping to all the gods that he would bring Blueberry back in the morning, safe and unharmed. Marcie seemed sure he just wanted the company though, and that he had to trust as well.
"Hopefully in the morning he'll come walkin' back into the house and you'll both feel tired but okay." Cathal was trying to find something comforting to say. He was still a little shook up by the story of Tragos' death. "And for right now," he promised, running a hand through her hair and giving her a smile, "I certainly want you around."
