"Yeah, they're marking schoolwork," Cathal agreed, hoping they had managed to get into the zone with it that hadn't been reached by the time Cathal left.
"I will get you wine," he said, walking towards the kitchen, "but I might have to momentarily take me leave to change out of this." He couldn't be sitting down on the furniture in his dirty work overalls.
Returning with two glasses and the wine bottle, Cathal's eye was caught by something shiny. "What is-" He put the things down on the kitchen table and walked over towards the wall by the window. Was that- "There's glass on the floor," he frowned, noting that there was also a rock. He pulled back the curtain and it revealed the hole where a rock had clearly collided its way through, and the radiating lines its impact had sent outward.
"Fuck," Cathal said, following it with a groan. He turned to look at Marcie. "Now that looks a little too high to be accidental, doesn't it?"
