Iestyn looked at Henry for a moment, then sighed and gave him a weak smile. "Oh honey, that's really good," he said, meaning it very sincerely, but inside knowing none of this would ever be enough, in the end. "I'm proud of you for facing your fears." Reaching out, he clasped Henry's hand between both of his and raised it to kiss his knuckles.
If Henry could do that, then Iestyn could face his own fears and try to be more resilient too. He took a moment to compose himself, and though he still looked tired, he at least was trying to smile a bit. "We're gonna have to go easy on the wine, unfortunately," he said, thinking ahead to the wrap party after show was done. He'd been looking forward to letting loose for the first time in a very long time, and now, he couldn't risk it.
