Kaden hadn't managed to do anything about Adrian's clothes, since Adrian was adamant that he was going to sleep the second he lay down and was laying down the second he could, the only thing Kaden could have done was actually undress him, and Kaden wasn't prepared to go that far. He'd yanked off his shoes, but that was as much as he was gonna do.
With a bit of a grumble Adrian closed his eyes, and then... Kaden was at a loss. He climbed into the chair in the corner of the room (dumping a pile of clean and cleanish laundry on the floor first) and pulled his legs up, watching Adrian sleep and listening for the sound of Cathal's car leaving, of Marcie moving almost silently back through the house.
The quiet made him uncomfortable, not knowing what he was supposed to do now made him uncomfortable, wondering what Marcie was going to say made him uncomfortable, memories of dead boys and kisses made him unbelievably uncomfortable and watching someone brother-ish sleep was the worst part of everything. By the time Marcie reached his door again, he'd put his phone on flight mode so no one could message him and was playing Candy Crush Saga trying to focus on the screen, and nothing put the screen.
"Yeah," he mumbled, acknowledging Marcie, flicking his eyes quickly to Adrian asleep in his bed. Kaden's bed. Although it wasn't really Kaden's bed, was it? It was much more Adrian than Kaden's, really. "He's asleep."
