Marcie couldn't resist leaning in for a kiss, because really, carrying on like that, he was just asking for it. "Thank you," she murmured, as she pulled away with a regretful sigh. "Better go scoop up my brother I guess."
At least it sounded like Kaden was sober enough to handle this. Marcie knew the general direction of the party, but not the exact address, having driven there with her mother once. She watched out the window as they drove, looking for something familiar.
"I think it's this street," she said at last, winding down her window to see if she could hear party noises. "I'm gonna call him." She pulled out her phone and dialed Kaden, eyes peering into the dark.
