"Yeah, can you fuck off? Our pizza's getting cold." Will retorted, stepping back so that Tuck didn't land on his feet.
Hermes backed up, no longer willing to pursue the point. Clearly he needed a new way in to get closer to Clio. The Merry Men didn't trust him, and never would, so this avenue was a waste of time. They were all of them lucky that he felt lenient today. All of them!
"You're all a bag of dicks!" he exclaimed, sounding hurt and angry. "This isn't the way to make friends. I wanted to do something good and you spit in my face! Next time you need a favour, just you see how far you get." He flipped them off and walked away, pulling out his phone, finger hovering over the command to dispute the large donation he'd given. Oh he wanted to, spiteful little assholes, he wanted to a lot. But after a minute of deliberation, he decided against. Ten grand was nothing to him anyway, and if Clio ever said anything, he could point to that as evidence of his efforts to help.
Hmm. Perhaps there were more sympathetic people he could try to pump for information about Clio and Stutely. Scrolling through his contacts, he pondered who would be his next target, and he smiled to himself as he walked away.
