"No, ma refused to teach me how to cook," Cathal said, after swallowing the biscuit in his mouth. "My parents had very old-fashioned ideas about the roles of men and women and they stuck to them. My mother always said that I didn't need to learn to cook, because that was what a wife was for. So I taught myself, slightly out of spite." He admitted, making a little face over that show of maturity.
