"You're such an easy person to be around," Cathal told her they had finished eating and during a lull in their conversation. He'd been enjoying their back and forth over the meal, and he was also enjoying her foot beneath the table. It felt very cute to be playing footsies. (Cathal didn't mind that. He could get on board with cute.)
